Some people find it comforting to see the person who has died and like to bring a small gift or photograph to put in the coffin. Others find it upsetting to see someone they loved and would rather remember that person as they were.
In some instances, we can arrange what is known as a closed casket viewing. This is a good alternative for people who wish to be close to their loved one but who do not want to see them, we can arrange for you to sit with the closed coffin.
It really is a personal choice and we aim to help in any way we can.
